Founded by Geert-Jan Davids in 2002, EquipIC supply chain is based in Haarlem, The Netherlands, and serves a world-wide customer base.

Business Philosophy

EquipIC‘s mission statement is to take care of all IC out-sourcing aspects while enabling our customers to concentrate on product marketing and development. Our added value comes from our strong knowledge of all aspects of realising custom ICs; process, design, production, assembly and test.

Business Model

We support two main project models:

COT model – as the customer you have visibility and control of all IC production costs including chip size, yields, test time and assembly. Cost reduction in each parameter is possible at any point in the life cycle of the product. In this business model NRE is relatively higher but the IC unit price is typically very competitive in high volume production.

ASIC model – you have the assurance of a fixed final IC price and will pay relatively lower NRE.

Any combination between the two business models is possible. We are flexible and will support you in choosing the best model to suit your product and target market.
