Geert-Jan Davids

Founder and CEO

Geert-Jan Davids ( GJ ) is a 28 year semiconductor industry veteran. Before founding EquipIC supply chain in 2002, GJ served as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Philips Research Laboratories, Sunnyvale, where he was involved in the development of advanced CMOS LOCOS isolation technology. After leaving Philips he served as Sales and Business Manager (Europe) for TSMC, then was appointed Vice-President of European Sales for UMC.

GJ holds an MS in Applied Physics degree from Delft University in The Netherlands, and is the author of a number of patents.

Douglas McArthur

VP, Marketing

Douglas McArthur has been involved in the semiconductor industry for the past 26 years. Before joining EquipIC in 2008, he was employed as Business Unit Manager for Symwave Technology responsible for their BioPrint product line. Prior to Symwave he worked as Product Line Manager for Fujitsu Microelectronincs biometric sensor products, responsible for capacitive sensor development, marketing and business development. Doug joined Philips Semiconductors in 1988, in Sunnyvale, California to work on their high performance BiCMOS process integration and device characterization.

Douglas holds a BSEE degree from the University of Colorado, and an MS degree in Applied Physics from Columbia University, City of New York.

Shimon Raviv

VP, Engineering

Shimon Raviv, EquipIC manager in Israel, has more than 24 years of experience in IC design, test and operations. His expertise spans system-on-chip and memory design (RAM, ROM, Flash), test, reliability engineering, and production. Shimon worked for four years as VP operations with AIseek, spent seven years in Flash memory design and reliability with Tower Semiconductor, five years in VLSI design, management and test with DSPG, three years with VLSI design & Test with Digital Equipment Corporation and three years specializing in board-level design in El-Op.

Shimon gained his BSEE in 1984 from Ben-Gurion University, Beer Sheva, Israel and an MBA in Aug 2000.

Torsten Krause-Dukart

VP, Strategic Partnerships

Torsten Krause-Dukart has 16 years of semiconductor industry experience.

Before joining EquipIC in 2006 he worked in senior design and programme management roles for NXP, PHILIPS, VLSI Technology, focusing upon complex wireless ASICs for tier-1 customers such as Ericsson, Samsung and Emblaze.

Torsten is a graduate of the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg and holds an MBA degree since 2009 from the Open-University Business School, Milton-Keynes. He also maintains a PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate from PMI.
